Business is Steady.

I'm happy to report that business has been steadily growing to the point that I have multiple client projects on the go, at any given time.  I'm particularly enjoying meeting and corresponding with clients from all over the world.  It's a truly amazing thing to know that your art is being viewed and appreciated globally!  The variety of jobs has also been an unexpected bonus.  I'm definetly getting to flex my creative muscles in so many new ways!  To give you an idea of the scope of projects I've worked on, or am currently working on, and where they come from, here's a list of some of my recent work:

  • I recently completed a portrait of Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, for a client in North Carolina, which he had transferred to his arm by a talented tattoo artist,
  • I've just completed designed and sketching black and white "Street Fighter" images on a pair of white Van's for a Vancouver client, and it looks as though I'll shortly be working on a pair of leather shoes for him as well,
  • Another Vancouver client requested sketches of a series of characters he had designed and was pitching as a new children's television series,
  • I'm currently working on a series of sketches for use on the web site of an innovative local businessman,
  • I'm also in the process of designing another t-shirt for an up-and-coming Vancouver band.
  • A client in Australia recently commissioned a drawing for a role playing game he was hosting with his friends, and finally,
  • I recently completed an image for a work colleague which depicts him as a character from World of Warcraft.
I've posted images for some of these projects below.  I hope you'll enjoy viewing them as much as I've enjoyed working on them.  I welcome your feedback and, of course, any new and exciting projects!

Open for Business

I would like to welcome everyone to my blog. Although I would like to use this as a way to reach out to new business and expand my artist for hire persona, I would also like this to be a place where people can come and see the things I'm working on. I always have a strange array of creative projects on the go, from custom models, to odd construction projects, to my most common medium which is of course drawing. So look around and enjoy, and check back as I'll be adding updates often.
